Gravitate To Me Kept your head away from all that sin babe Never looking out at all that jazz Psychic wind come it's gonna up and move you Over the land She's gonna Gravitate To Me She come grooving across the water They can't stop what's meant to be A love that's greater than any distance They'll be telling you your mind is failing They'll be saying things are much too wild But they don't recognize that higher calling Hold on child I see it in your screaming eyes A consciousness with no disguise Bold print, letter type Strange fruit, now ripe Spirits dance around the fire Summoning a thing that's higher Lay a path, bringing you to me She's gonna Gravitate To Me She come grooving across the water They can't stop what's meant to be A love that's greater than any distance Meet Shakespeare he'll be having a beer Sitting in the upper tier And there's Rimbaud in the section below Letting everybody know Meet Gene Bay and he's coming to say He'll find you on the radio They got canvases And they paint landscapes Landscapes that stretch out Across vast distances Distances that are so ... Now we're waking up the birthday baby Fascination back in this child's eyes Pretty soon now I'll be in view And there'll be no more lies She's gonna Gravitate To Me She come grooving across the water They can't stop what's meant to be A love that's greater than any distance Gravitate Gravitate To Me Gravitate Gravitate To Me

The Napoleon Mode Got a future like a fireworks show That is never gonna to grow old I've got friends that share a supply of air In a dungeon dank and cold Hands in the ice tray always on a hot day Months in the mirror pass A silicone shot and you'll forget me not I'll make my future look like past I know Napoleon Got his eyes all up in the sun I'd risk my sight For something as hard to see And waste my life for what cannot be With fading hope my microscope Keeps babbling about tomorrow You know all these dissections and closer inspections Just cause you pain and sorrow My ambition makes Madonna shake All the actors turn and blush I'm gonna free Miss Liberty In fame and God we trust I know Napoleon He's always waxing 'bout wars he won He's got a photo book Like everyone else's He's a boring bastard Who got what he wanted I know You 'Cause I see through Can't hand me shit We're two of a kind Me and I I know Napoleon Got his eyes all up in the sun I'd risk my sight For something as hard to see And waste my life for what cannot be I know I know I know I know

I Can't Describe It Did you ever look in the mirror And just see nothing Have the things that you hold dear Ever slipped away Wishing you could grab On to something Is there nothing can be done For me today Sometimes I get so down I Can't Describe It So why am I still glad To be around? I walk in sawed off circles Keeping watch on the world an armchair human being I have become Take me back human race I wanna feel again Gotta find a place that's somewhere Near the truth Sometimes I get so down I Can't Describe It So why am I still glad To be around? I'm lost On a distant shore Waiting on My ... Sometimes I get so down I Can't Describe It So why am I still glad To be around? They say that life is just to die But I don't buy it There has to be a reason There has to be a reason There has to be a reason

Woman 06:08
Woman Woman Walking now on moonlit sand A woman Alone I can see her by the water She is far away from me So it's very hard to see What she's thinking and feeling and wanting Near the ocean I raise the hammer up I bring it down on the mirror I spread myself around this room I hear the muffled voices Giving me my choices Telling me of girls and men and women Woman Your body is different form mine And woman Your place in this world is different too America says whore or virgin What is a woman to believe in If not herself For her there are no in-betweens But in the shattered glass I see a time that's past Yours was once a day of glory So beautiful and strange You're moving through this change Equality is only a mindset away Oh and I now want to understand you Away Oh and I now want to understand you But in the shattered glass I see a time that's past Yours was once a day of glory So beautiful and strange You're moving through this change Equality is only a mindset away Oh and I now want to understand you Away Oh and I now want to understand you Away Oh and I now want to understand you Oh and I now want to understand you Equality is only a mindset away Equality is only a mindset away America says America says America says America says America says America says America says

Satchel Paige I have a good friend His name is Satchel They never let him pitch He was a natural He hurled that seed A hundred miles He tossed that pea About as hard as can be I wanna be somebody I'll never be like they are I gotta be somebody I'll never get quite that far Something about The way she stood Yeah on the sand man The water wrapped itself around her ankles You know something Satch I really dug this girl But I never told her Always something holding us back Holding us back, yes I wanna love somebody That I can do nice things for I wanna meet somebody That I don't have to perform for I wanna be somebody I'll never be like they are I gotta be somebody I'll never get quite that far I wanna love somebody That I can do nice things for I wanna meet somebody That I don't have to perform for

about

"Lost And Found" is a group of five songs that Counter Culture recorded in 1990. The tapes of the sessions were recently found after being lost for over two decades. The basic tracks were recorded in Babylon, New York at Recordamatt Studio in the spring of 1990. Joe Chinnici was the engineer of the sessions. Additional vocals and instrumental bits were added at Hoboken Recorders with engineer/producer Alan Camlet in the fall of 2020. Camlet handled the remastering of the original tapes as well.

about

Mark Lesseraux New York

Mark’s mother is Irish Catholic. His father was a Russian Jew. In the 2nd grade, Mark veered “off course”… secretly. It is not clear how the "thread" was lost, but it had to do with a botched reading assignment; a chapter in a blue and yellow book left unread. Later, there were 2 nervous system glitches and at least 2 ecstatic dot connecting sessions. Finally, a Need… to sing. ... more
